Obituary

Maj. Walter V. Guldenschuh, director of the Salvation Army Men's Social Service Center, Paterson, died Monday at River Dell Hospital, Oradell. Maj. Guldenschuh, 63, lived at 170 Bergen Ave.

Maj. Guldenschuh had been connected with the property department of the Salvation Army at territorial headquarters in New York City.

Surviving are his wife, the former Wilhelmina Berkhoudt; two daughters, Mrs. Grace E. Payton of Erie, Pa., and Mrs. Yvonne Faith Payton of White Plains, N.Y.; a son, Walter F. of The Bronx; two brothers, Frank and Arthur, both of Towanda, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Teeter of Towanda and Mrs. Grace Sampson of Washington, D.C., and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel in the Center.
