Obituary

Kathleen A. (Taylor) Bevan, 72, of Easy Street, answered the heavenly call of God and entered into His loving arms on Monday, May 4, 2015.

Born Aug 16, 1942, in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. & Beatrice M. (Hutchins) Taylor.

For 47 years, she served in the ministry of the Lord with The Salvation Army and the United Methodist Church. She was currently the Pastor at the Brandon UMC, Brandon VT. She also worked helping people with disabilities for 15 years with Living Resources.

In her early life, she enjoyed spending time at the beach in Quincy with her family and friends. She was very family oriented, always putting others first. She will be remembered for being caring, patient, well spoken and wise. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her loving husband Rev. Kenneth G Bevan, of Troy, son Kenneth Bevan and his wife Maria, daughter Kathy Bechand and her husband Mike, and daughter Kerri Bevan, as well grandchildren Kevin & Kaitlyn, brother David (Marilyn) Taylor, sister Marietta (Jerry) Uttley, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by older brothers, Philip and Charles Taylor.

There will be a special service of love and remembrance for her at 1:30 at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Ave Troy, preceded by a time of music and memories at 1PM, on Saturday May 9.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Pastor Kathleen A. Bevan to the Brandon United Methodist Church 1 Franklin Street Brandon, VT 05733.
