In the succeeding two years, in a London corps appointment, the Colonel commanded the central training corps and later became sectional officer at the International Training College.

At the outbreak of World War II, Colonel Davidson assumed responsibility for a group of cadets moved from the International Training to Liverpool.

During the London blitz of 1940-14, Colonel and Mrs. Davidson oversaw the famous Regent Hall Corps.

In addition to the wide experience in training Salvation Army officers, the Colonel has been a Divisional Young People Secretary, Sectional and Divisional Commander in Norfolk, Sheffield and South London.
