Salvation Army Head Installed

Commissioner Paul Kaiser was installed last night as the 16th National Commander of the 110-year-old Salvation in the United States before a capacity audience of nearly 2,000 people in the Centennial memorial Temple, 120 Wort 14th Street. Also installed, in keeping with the organization's requirement that officer husband-wife teams share appointments, was Mrs. Kaiser, who became president of the group's women's organization in the United States.

Commissioner Paul Stephen, age 77, of Asbury Park, on March 21. Beloved husband of Louise (nee Duerr); devoted father of the late Edna Lou Kaiser, and brother of Myra K. Olley, and Elizabeth E. Kaiser. Funeral service Friday evening March 24, at 7:30 p.m., at the Salvation Army Citadel Corps, 510 Grand Ave., Asbury Park. Interment Saturday, 11 a.m., at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Visiting hours at the Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Route 33, Neptune, N.J., Thursday evening 7-9 p.m.
