Salvation Army Leaders Marry
Major William Kelly, Salvation Army commander here, officiated in a marriage ceremony uniting Capt. Robert Wessel and Lieut. Joy Cojeen at the Saginaw Salvation Army citadel Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
The bridegroom, whose home is in St. Louis, Mo., has been assistant to Major Robert McMahon, at Saginaw. The bride, a Flint resident, has been assistant and secretary to Major Kelly here.
After a short trip, Capt. and Mrs. Wessel will go to Ecorse, where they are to take charge of the Salvation Army program there.

Obituary
Joy Cojeen Wessel, 76, Satel Drive, Orlando, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, of cancer. Capt. Wessel was a retired minister with the Salvation Army. Born in Flint, Mich., she moved to Central Florida in 1990. Survivors: daughter, Valery Prill, Nashville, Tenn.; son, David, Chicago; sisters, Eleanor Clark, Joan Agan, both of Orlando; four grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home-Ivanhoe Chapel, Orlando.
