Reda L. Bone, 83, of 7202 Fifty-fourth St. North, Pinellas Park, Fla., formerly of Pen Argyl, died Friday in Bons-Secours-Maria Manor Nursing Home, St. Petersburg, Fla. She was the wife of the late William G. Bone Sr.
She was employed by the former Ideal Fashions, Pen Argyl, retiring in 1957.
Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Violet (Oslin) Lang.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel, Pen Argyl.
Survivors: Sons, Carl of Palmer Township, Bernard of Columbus, Ohio, Richard of Pen Argyl and Glenwood of Rolla, Mo.; daughters, June Soper of Rolla and Barbara Finken of Pinellas Park; brothers, John and Harold, both of Easton; sisters, Joyce Ross and Lydia Gunn, both of Bangor; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William G. Jr., and a daughter Violet.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 S. Robinson Ave., Pen Argyl. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Richard J Bone, 72, of Pen Argyl, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA. Born: On November 28, 1935, in Pen Argyl, PA, the son of the late William G and Reda L Lang Bone. Personal: He and his wife, the former Mary M Lewis, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last December. He was employed as a nurse's aide at Easton Hospital, working in the emergency ward, until retiring in 1998. Richard was a 1955 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. Memberships: He was a member of the Pen Argyl Salvation Army, where he was the Head Bell Ringer for the Christmas Kettle Fundraising Drive. Survivors:Two daughters, Michele K. Harrington and her husband Michael of Philadelphia, PA and Tami J. Roarty and her husband Patrick of Bethlehem, PA; sister, June Sope of Missouri; two brothers, Bernard Bone of South Carolina and Carl Bone of Tatamy, PA; 2 grandsons Brian and Sean Harrington; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved pet cat, Squeaker. Two brothers, William and Glenwood Bone, and two sisters Violet Bone and Barbara Finken died earlier. Services: 12pm Tuesday at the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 South Robinson Ave. Pen Argyl, PA. Call, Tuesdayfrom 10am-12pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
