Two Are Named Salvation Army Heads in Sayre
Lt. Walter Guldenschuh, and Lt. David MacLean have taken charge of the Salvation Army Citadel in Sayre, replacing Capt. Robert Dries, who has been transferred to Bristol, Conn.
Lt. Guldenschuh came to Sayre from Meriden, Conn. and Lt. MacLean, is from Norwalk, Conn.
Lt. Guldenschuh is the son of Capt. and Mrs. Walter V. Guldenschuh, who are managers of the Salvation Army's Men's Social Service Center in Rochester. his two sisters, also Salvation Army Officers, are Mrs. Capt. G. Payton, stationed at Coshocton, Ohio, and Mrs. Capt. F. Payton, who is stationed in Santa Fe, Argentina, South America, as a missionary.
Lt. MacLean, son of Leonard Maclean, a former Salvation Army officer, is the fourth in a family of five to become an officer with the organization.
An older brother, Leonard, is at present a medical technician. Two brothers and a sister are stationed in various parts of the Eastern territory of the United States. They are Capt. Charles F. MacLean, commanding officer of the Tiffin, Ohio, Corps; Capt. William MacLean, legal department of the territorial headquarters in New York City; and Mrs. Edith Foor of West Chester, Pa.
