Bernice Coon Kimball, 91, of 210 Fifth Ave., died Saturday at home.
Born in Cadillac, Mich., she lived here many years.
She was commissioned an officer in the Salvation Army in 1907 and retired from active service in 1926 with the rank of lieutenant colonel. She served in several posts throughout Michigan.
She was a member of the Asbury Park Corps of the Salvation Army and the Salvation Army Retired Officers League.
She was the wife of Albert Kimball, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Salvation Army, who died in 1947.
Surviving are several grandchildren.
The Ely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
