The Salvation Army in Pen Argyl first opened in the fall of 1891. It was part of the PenDel Division. Majors John and Martha Wheeler were stationed here for 4 months before closing the corps on June 27, 2021, due to low attendance and no viable kettle stands. The flag was retired.
