Capt. Lyell Rader, 60, Brooklyn, N.Y., Salvation Army leader and brother of Rev. Luke Rader of Minneapolis, died in Brooklyn early today. Rev. and Mrs. Luke Rader were present.
Captain Rader was a former St. Paul resident, graduate of Yale university and received his Ph. D. degree from Taylor university in Upland, Ind. During the World war he was a government chemist.
Surviving are the widow and a son, Capt. Lyell Rader, Jr., of Brooklyn; another son, Dan of Burlington, N. C., and a daughter, Frances of Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral arrangements are being completed.
