Obituary
Carolyn, 72, was promoted to Glory at about the time of evening when you are still pondering the beauty of the sunset and start to see the lightning bugs come out. She was in her own home surrounded by angels and many of her loved ones tending to her care. As with all things entrusted to God, the timing, and preparations for her promotion were perfectly ordered and orchestrated.
She was the sweet redheaded daughter of Lucien and Gracie Blake from around the area of Huntington, W.VA. She was the beloved widow of Wesley Lee Moore, promoted to Glory in August of 1987.
Her children and their families, who call her Blessed, remain grieving, along with the many hearts she befriended, mothered, ministered to, counseled, fed, clothed, sheltered and lifted up without reserve.
Although she faced the extended losses and constant challenges of Alzheimer's, her faith never wavers; the integrity of her spirit continues perfectly intact.
Her prayer and standing challenge to all who came under her care: Be good. Be gentle. Do not be afraid. Work from your heart. Look to God for your need. I LOVE YOU.
