Mrs. Col. George H. (Blanche), Salvation Army, (Ret.), died March 7, 1973. Surviving are her sons, [[George Marshall II|Lt. Col. George H. Marshall Jr.]], S. A. Decature, Dr. Donald F. Marshall, Smyrna; sister, Mrs. Margaret Melby, Crookston, Minn., six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, at 10 o'clock at Spring Hill, [[William Chamberlain|Commissioner William E. Chamberlain]], Salvation Army, and Staff officiating, interment Westview.
