Loving wife to Bramwell and mother to [[Barbara Tillsley Robinson|Barbara]] ([[Malcom Robinson|Malcolm]]) Robinson, [[Mark Tillsley|Mark]] ([[Sharon Tillsley|Sharon]]) and John (Margaret). Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Laura and Ian Robinson, Michael, Paul and Karin Tillsley and Christopher and Heather Tillsley. Survived by sister, [[Eileen Pitcher Peat|Major Eileen Peat]], of White Rock, BC. Maude, who trained as a Registered Nurse, served as a Salvation Army Officer and international leader of women’s ministries, retiring with her husband, General Bramwell Tillsley (Rtd.), from London, England, in 1994. Friends may visit at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St, Toronto on Monday, February 24 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will be held at The Salvation Army North Toronto Community Church, 7 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11am.
