Commandant **Herbert Henry Howard Booth** was the third son of [[William Booth|William]] and [[Catherine Mumford Booth|Catherine Booth]]. He oversaw the Limelight Department's development and was the writer and director for //Soldiers of the Cross//. He left the Salvation Army in 1902 after strained relations with his father and brother, [[Bramwell Booth]].
